Our sustainable protective cushion packaging formula is made from a renewable resource—palm fiber—a waste product, discarded when the palm fruit is harvested for its edible oil. We use customer order requirements to design specific protective cushions. Bamboo or palm fiber pulp molded products are just that - molded pulp - reminiscent of natural fiber. A series of production line machines process the pulp mixture, form it into molds of customized sizes and specifications, remove the excess water, then set it to dry. Our molded pulp products are made from 100 percent post-consumer materials. They are completely biodegradable, recyclable and compostable.
From a manufacturer's or shipping perspective, it is an advantageous packaging material. It absorbs shocks and protects industrial products. It can be shaped to fit any custom need, and it is nestable and stackable, which takes up less room in storing and shipping the material. So many companies like Wal-Mart, has pledged to switch over to biodegradable molded pulp packaging from expanded polystyrene (EPS) in many of their products. Our palm fiber molded protective cushion is a direct replacement for expanded use of polystyrene (EPS) packaging material which is damaging the environment because is made from crude oil. |
